Theta Chi Fraternity's Assisting Hand Scholarship is awarded to an incoming male freshmen applicant attending the University of Georgia each fall. Theta Chi recognizes men who exemplify leadership in the classroom, their respective campuses, the athletic field, and other areas where they have found the opportunity to lead and take initiative. In accordance with our motto, "An assisting hand", we believe that it is necessary as brothers of Theta Chi to do our best to extend an assisting hand and offer fraternal brotherhood to those who are seeking to enrich their college experience and better themselves.

For the Fall of 2024, we will award one scholarship worth $1,000 that will be paid toward the selected applicant’s tuition. Although the scholarship is sponsored by the parents and alumni of Theta Chi Delta Beta, the scholarship recipients are in no way obligated to join our fraternity.

To qualify for the Assisting Hand Scholarship, incoming students must complete the online application by July 1st, 2024, and be enrolled full-time at the University of Georgia for the Fall semester.

After the deadline we will select a group of finalists based on the applications. These applicants will be contacted to set up an interview in July. Once the final selection process is complete, the recipient will be announced in August.
